KMail - Has much changed in 5 years ?

I'm considering using KMail again, after using another email client for 5 years. So, the first post I see is viewtopic.php?f=215&t=81431&start=30#p449147 , and it seems on the HTML side of things, nothing much has changed.
What about the following issues, are they resolved ?: viewtopic.php?f=215&t=138490 viewtopic.php?f=215&t=137034 viewtopic.php?f=215&t=136826 viewtopic.php?f=215&t=165206 Also, is the KDE forum the only forum where one can discuss KMail issues ? Are there any mailing lists for KMail ?

There is indeed a mailing list called kdepim-users@kde.org, you can subscribe to it at this address: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-users
