I built a filter in KMail that is attached to a mark-as-spam button on the toolbar. One of the actions is to forward the message to SpamCop. That action does not work, though all other actions in the filter do work. Am I missing something?

The filter looks like this:

Code: Select all
[Filter #15]
Applicability=0
AutomaticName=true
ConfigureShortcut=true
ConfigureToolbar=true
Enabled=true
Icon=mail-mark-junk
StopProcessingHere=true
ToolbarName=Spam
action-args-0=P
action-args-1=bogofilter -s
action-args-2=submit.(obfuscated)@spam.spamcop.net@$$@
action-args-3=IMAP Account 1/Junk
action-name-0=set status
action-name-1=execute
action-name-2=forward
action-name-3=transfer
actions=4
apply-on=
contentsA=0
fieldA=<size>
funcA=greater-or-equal
identifier=SaNjGK36ciZ4ix6n
name=Classify as Spam
operator=and
rules=1

From the filter log:

Code: Select all
------------------------------
[04:51:23] Begin filtering on message "اسسادارة المخازن وتحليل ومراقبة المخزونوالمعتمد من الدار العربية للتنمية الادارية والموثق منالخارجيةموعد الانعقاد :من 14 – 18 نوفمبر 2021القاعةالافتراضية زووووم / القاهرة – جمهورية مصر العربية" from "nada zaki0158 " at "Friday, November 12, 2021 5:37:00 AM UTC+02:00" :
[04:51:23] Applying filter action: Mark As "Spam"
[04:51:23] Applying filter action: Execute Command "bogofilter -s"
[04:51:23] Applying filter action: Forward to submit.(obfuscated)@spam.spamcop.net with default template
[04:51:23] Applying filter action: Move Into Folder "IMAP Account 1/Junk"
------------------------------

The system is Fedora 35:

Code: Select all
Operating System: Fedora Linux 35
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.14.16-301.fc35.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz

It's been several days and no replies.

I tried building a filter that has no other action than "Forward To", and I set it to a different email address. No go ... The system just totally ignores the action. It logs that the rule was executed , but in fact it did nothing.

Apparently no one here uses KMail. Two weeks and no replies, not even someone to say it happens to them too.

Same here. I've been trying to make a simple forward to for several days to no avail. The filter log indicated the filter has been executed but the messages is not forwarded.

Anyone else???
