Stupid me has mangled some email account folder names causing KMail to permanently crash on start-up. :-\
Then I wanted to set up my accounts/IDs in KMail from scratch – but I can't because of its crashing!~ :'(

So where are the mail configs and folders located, and how would I get rid of them? Is it sufficient just to remove them (on command line), or would I need some more (akonadi) actions? – Or simply said: How to properly get an 'empty' KMail for starting over?

Cheers!

OK, since there wasn't much configured yet in my PIM anyway, I made a clean sweep following [ this one ].

Well then, how to mark this "solved"?
Thanks!

I was going to suggest the same doc to you.

I gues you can mark it as solved since you started the thread?
You should see a button "Set this topic as solved" or something like that

You may also change the post title to "[SOLVED] KMail: How to delete and reconfigure IDs when crashing?"

Cheers!

All right, will do. ^^

Ntl. there're other issues to be discussed in other topics.
