Yesterday I changed the location of the trash folder in the KMail settings dialog from local folder to an IMAP resource.
Now KMail shows an error message and after closing the error message the KMail Window is closed.
Error message:

Code: Select all

Could not create collection trash, resourceId 3

I looked for some config files concernig KMail but I did not find anything.

I am locked out.
Please help.

You can use akonadiconsole to configure the agents and make the changes back.

Ih deleted the Trash folder in Local folders. That solved the problem.

Now Kmail starts again without errors.
