troycarpenter Registered Member Posts 29 Karma 0 OS	RE: kmail crash Fri Jan 16, 2009 2:12 am Still haven't checked the bug reports, but this is either related to the Cyrus IMAP server ( Kolab ) that I am using, or a specific email message. The work around I have employed is to use a web interface to the affected mail folders, move the first 40 or so messages to a temp directory. Then I can load Kmail and it will work just fine, I can even go into the temp directory through kmail and move the messages back to the original directory without any crash.

troycarpenter Registered Member Posts 29 Karma 0 OS	RE: kmail crash Sat Jan 24, 2009 6:00 pm After a quick poke around kdebugs, I think this one is the bug I am seeing: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179765 It says it was fixed after RC1, which is what I am currently running. Since I don't use kde svn, I can't confirm whether or not the problem is solved until I get the new version.
