I use korganizer -o (4.1) to edit my calendar, is the any way to disable the .ics~ backup-files that korganizer seems to be creating?

I can't trivially find such an option in configuration menus or korganizerrc.

These backup files are created automatically through the system KOrganizer uses to save its files. I believe this can be disabled, but only if the application supports it. You can double check by seeing if KWrite supports this feature.

If it does, then file a feature request for this. Otherwise it is impossible.

Both kwrite and kate support this feature, so I guess I'll find out how to file feature requests.

Feature requests are filed on bugs.kde.org, under the severity "Wishlist". The bug would be filed for KOrganizer in this cirumstance. Please search for pre-existing bugs before filing new ones, this feature may have already been requested
