Is there any way in Kmail to transform a normal IMAP account to a disconnected IMAP account or I have to start a new? I have been looking to acconunt configuration bu I can find anything to do this.
It isn't many work to start a new account but I just want to know if it's possible.

No, I don't think there is any such option.

You could try asking on the kdepim-users mailinglist, but probably recreating the account is even easier than that.
