Hello

I use openSUSE 11.0 with KDE 4.2.0 rel 83.1. Every time I start Kontact it comes up as very small window. Normaly I am used that the size at the time of closing the application it the size for the start.

Also the column settings in kmail are always set back to default values when I start kmail via kontact.

Are for these issues workaround or fixes known?

THanks a lot

Under Kubuntu you can do it under System Settings > Window Behaviour you can set Kontact to remember its position under Window-Specific Settings. Hope it works in openSUSE as well.

Thanks,

this works around the problem for kontact. Though it does not fix the bug, the columns in kmail are still fading away ..

Glad it worked!

Hm, Kmail should be there as well. Weird.
