Is there any way to do this? I'm not finding anything at the moment...

I'm using KDE 4.2.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you exactly mean. You can drag and move appointments. You can even Cut/CopyPaste them from one place to another.

I have two separate local (file-based) calendars set up through Akonadi. I have some appointments that are in the "wrong" calendar, and I would like to "move" them to the other calendar - not a different time/day, just take them from one calendar resource and place them into the other calendar resource. Any way to do this?

Tried Copy/cut Paste? :)
Select the appointment from "month" view and copy it to the other calendar.

Yup, that did it (other than all the crashing when copy/pasting). Duh. Guess I need more coffee. ;)

Thanks!

I have the same need to move appointments from one calendar to another, but, frankly, it's *way* too slow. The only way I've found to paste the appointment to the correct calendar is to deselect the calendar it came from after I cut it. But I have a *lot* of stuff in that calendar, and it takes forever for Kontact to finish 'hiding' all those appointments.

Mozilla Sunbird has a simple way of doing the same thing. You open an appointment, select the calendar you want it to appear in, then save and close it...done. I haven't found an obvious way to do that, so am I missing something?
