My mail arrives in the trash folder not the inbox. I'm running Suse v 11.1. Any suggestions?

In KMail, Settings -> Configure KMail -> Accounts
Select your active account and press "Modify" and then click "Advanced" tab. Make sure that "Destination folder" is set to "Inbox" |

Thank you, Sayak. I had those settings already entered but the mail continues to go to my trash folder. There actually are no other options afforded me except for the inbox as a destination folder.

Although this should not really do much of a difference, but open Settings -> Configure KMail -> Misc and see if you have "Ask for confirmation before moving...." checked.

Btw, do you have any Filters set up? See under the "Message" menu and disable any such filter.

Yes and after disabling ALL filters, my mail comes through correctly. I'll test these features to see which works best for me. Thank you for your help, Sayak |
