[SOLVED] kmail re-reads all the messages in IMAP

Hi, I am using an IMAP account with kmail. But each time I fetch mail from the server, my whole inbox is completely re-read again. This took much time for mails with huge attachment and also creates duplicates of the most recently received email. I do not have those problems with thunderbird. Any ideas how to turn off that behavior?

Try to use Disconnected IMAP account.
It is not possible to convert easily from IMAP to Disconnected IMAP afaik.
You have to resetup your account.
