Hello,
I am using Kmail 1.11 in KDE 4.2.

I am trying to set the standard reply template to place the cursor above the quoted message, and to change the "you wrote" to "(sender) wrote." So this is what I edited the standard reply template to:
Code: Select all
%REM="Default reply template"%-
%CURSOR
On %ODATE %OTIMELONG %OFROMNAME wrote:
%QUOTE

...but nothing is changed. Am I doing something wrong or is this a Kmail bug?

Thanks in advance.

I tried your template and it seems to work.

You said you modified the standard template - could you check that your identity is using it and not a custom template?

You're awesome - didn't even see that option. All's cool now - except that KMail likes to rearrange the folder tree every time I set an option. Always something new right?
