I'm trying to switch to kmail from thunderbird, and there's one feature that I haven't found yet. I'd like to set up a couple of filters to automatically set message tags. That would result in different colors set for different message sources or subjects - work related emails would then be one color, personal emails another.

I've found how to set up the message tags and include buttons on the menu bar, but I'd like to be able to set the tags automatically by filter.

Any ideas?

KMail does not currently support message tagging, this is currently an idea in the KDE Brainstorm I believe. At this time you can replicate tagging by placing messages in seperate sub folders, which filters can do.
