Every time I drop my internet connection (i.e. close notebook lid, suspend, etc.) and reconnect later I have to Restart Kmail. If I don't, I get an "unknown host" error when it tries to check the mail. This is true even if Kmail does not try to check the mail until after I re-acquire wifi access. Once I restart Kmail it all runs fine though.

I know this happens with my IMAP account for school (which I believe is run on an OWA Microsoft Exchange server). I recently set up a POP3 w/ Yahoo! using Freepops. I don't know if it does this as well (I just automatically re-start Kmail while I'm reconnecting now to avoid the error).

Anyone know a way I can fix this? Restarting Kmail every time is getting very, very old.
