Hello
I have Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4) KOrganizer: 4.1.4 Ubuntu 8.10 I am using KOrganizer as stand alone, ie no collaboration with other tools and I think I didn't do anything to be able to start it automatically when I log in to the desktop. Everything was fine and I didn't change any of th preferences or anything but today I got this: When I am trying to modify an event (drag it for example) I get: Window: Locking Failed Message: Unable to lock item for modification. You cannot make any changes Or when I add a new event I get Window: Sorry Message: Unable to save Event "event name" I have no idea what to look at since I didn't change anything. If you need more info please tell me so.

Well, I continued working all day long and I suspended the computer twice. Magically the 2nd time everything started working fine and they have until now... I didn't do any administrative tasks (configuration, updates etc.) only normal desktop user work.
If you have any ideas about the locking of events/todos drop them. BTW, KOrganizer is the best of its kind ![]() |

Sorry, but I do not know why this has happened, it could be due to a bug in the application, or because it is trying to perform an internal task at the same time. Please ensure you don't have double instances of KOrganiser running at the same time.
