Hello everyone,
It's a couple of months I started using Kmail, and I'm very happy with it. Today I started a new message, thoutgh that I needed a table and an image in the mail (and my recipients won't have any problem with them), and for the first time I switched the standard composition mode from the usual "just text" to "HTML". Nice toolbar, I could easily add bold or colored text, and links, but didn't find what I was looking for: there is no way to add images and tables to a message in Kmail! But tables and maybe (inline) images should be the main reason because someone might want to write an HTML message, don't you think? Yes, I could attach a document, but wasn't it overkill for something as simple as a table? Is this a missing but planned feature of future versions of Kmail? It seems that it works in some way, since I tried creating the table in OpenOffice Writer and pasting it to Kmail, and it was there, working as expected. Maybe I'm missing some thing? regards gerlos

If this is not possible, you may need to file a feature request if one does not already exist at bugs.kde.org.

Found this thread via Google search. As far as I can tell, this feature is still missing from KMail / Kontact 4.13.2. I am trying to create an HTML template that uses (2) pictures from the web. One in a table (which Mail does handle the table properly), and one in-line in the message body (see attached picture). If anyone else can confirm, I will look for a relevant bug report and update it.
