Dear all,

as the aggregation features of KMail are not that usable for me, I tend to switch them off, choosing the "Flat Date View" and losing not only the aggregation of mails belonging to one day, week or month under one group, but also any threading related to any conversation.

My question: Is there some way to have a classical mail threading *without* the need for aggregated groups? The huge headings of the latter clutter the message list way too much in my opinion.

Thanks and best regards,
Jens

try the "standard mailing list" aggregation - is that what you are after?

That's exactly what I was aftert at, Toad. So thank you very much for bringing some light into my confusion - must have been an overdose of configuration options blinding me. ;-)
