I am running kde 4.2.2 on a c2d machine with 4GB of ram.
My problem is fairly simple. Akregator, whether I run it standalone or from within Kontact, is not fetching the feeds unless I click one of the Fetch buttons on the interface. On the last box I was using, I would open Kontact, and my feeds would update every 30 minutes. I have checked the settings, and under General, "Use interval fetching" is checked, and "Fetch feeds every" is set to 30 minutes. Any idea why this shouldn't work? Thanks, --vr |

I have those settings enabled, and they work for me ( running Trunk though )
If you have enabled them, try disabling "Use notifications for all feeds", "Fetch All Feeds on Startup" and "Mark all feeds as read on startup" to see if that has any effect.

I have tried turning all three on and off, and it did not make a difference. Akregator is still not auto-fetching feeds. --vr |
