How to set up the IMAP address book in KMail? I've found the option for adding IMAP resource but I can't configure it.
Any ideas? |

No replies so far. What does it mean? Are KMail developers using Evolution?

I think there is a groupware wizard which does this kind of setup.
You could also ask on the kdepim-users mailinglist. Cheers, _

The group ware wizard does not work for me, I cannot figure out why. If you find how to make Kolab work, can you post instructions please.
Thanks |

Yeah, instructions for the setup would be great!
Anyway thanks for replying. |

Without having tested this myself:
- You need a "disconnected IMAP" account in KMail - You need to enable groupware folders in "configure KMail" -> Misc -> Tab Groupware Cheers, _

Okay I've enabled IMAP resource functionality and selected for format Kolab2 because the another one is deprecated.
After all how to get my Contacts list? Thank you. |

I am pretty sure it works for several years now. It is the way to access addressbooks on Kolab servers and there are several companies selling services along that.
You should really consider asking on the kdepim-users mailinglist. Cheers, _
