I'm under karmic, and have kde 4.3 beta 2
In the change log, it is support to have support for google calendar in akonadi/kontact, but I can't see anything ??

The support in question is included as part of KDE Extragear at this time.
Your distribution may already have packages available for it ( perhaps in a seperate PPA ) otherwise you will need to manually compile it.

I've asked the maintainer to consider doing a beta release of his resource along side KDE's, or rather along side one of the release candidates.

This increases the chance that someone creates a beta package as well.
