In my .xsession-errors I can see this.

kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/libkdeinit4_korgac.so
Could not open library /usr/bin/korgac: Cannot load library /usr/lib/libkdeinit4_korgac.so: (/usr/lib/libkdeinit4_korgac.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I use kubuntu jaunty . Where can I get this library? Please help.

That problem is not related to the issue you are encountering. KDEInit tries to load previous session applications as libraries for some unknown reason ( it does the same here also ). Messages to that affect can be safely ignored.

How can I start a clean session. system monitor says that korgac is running, but its showing no system tray icon.

Try killing korgac then restarting it by running "korgac"

I don't know either, but they have been present for a long time, and seem to have no ill effects, so I think they are simply harmless.
