I would like to know if there are more people out there who would like to use Kontact with egroupware as backend.

After setting up egroupware (since it is fully supported according to the kontact compatibility matrix) I tried to get it work with several methods (groupdav, icalsrv, file on remote host) but it does not. I saw duplicated entries, appointments disappeared etc.

All this seems to be known but nothing happens. I personally would suggest to at least clarify that Kontact is not ready for use with egroupware.

I'm sorry for not being skilled to send patches. The bugs I saw were already reported. I just can suggest not to pretend that egroupware is supported since it is not true. Transparency should be a key feature of free software.
