I keep getting the following error:
The software could not upload your free/busy list to the URL 'https://username@caldav.calendar.yahoo.com/dav/username/Calendar/D_T'. There might be a problem with the access rights, or you specified an incorrect URL. The system said: Access was denied whilst attempting to upload https://username@caldav.calendar.yahoo. ... endar/D_T.. It works fine on Lightning on both Mandriva and Vista. It appears to me that the URL is being configured wrongly. It should be: https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com/dav/u ... lendar/D_T but for some reason 'username@' is getting added to the beginning. |

This is not related to koffice moving to appropriate forum.

Have you verified that the correct username and password are encoded into the url?

The user name and password are correct, I have tried countless combinations of that. Trying to sync with Yahoo using the 'free/busy' option in Calendar totally fails every time. I get the following:
The software could not upload your free/busy list to the URL 'https://gen37_19@caldav.calendar.yahoo.com/dav/gen37_19/Calendar/D_T'. There might be a problem with the access rights, or you specified an incorrect URL. The system said: An unexpected error (406) occurred while attempting to upload https://usernam@caldav.calendar.yahoo.c ... endar/D_T.. Please check the URL or contact your system administrator. However, I have partially succeeded in syncing by adding a "Calendar on a remote file". This way I can at least SEE my Yahoo calendar on Kontact but if I try to add or edit an event I get: An unexpected error (400) occurred while attempting to upload http://calendar.yahoo.com/username/2a6b ... 1/ycal.ics. I have to assume the setting are correct as it works perfectly with Mozilla Thunderbird.

That url you are using is probably the read only version, as uploading more than likely needs a username and password.

"I have to assume the setting are correct as it works perfectly with Mozilla Thunderbird." It seems that Yahoo only allows viewing of an ICS file. I have also tried setting up an Akonadi resource for the Yahoo calendar and by default that is read only. However, a Google calendar on Akondi works both ways. Don't know why CalDav works on Thunderbird but not on Kontact though?
