Hi all,
I'm successfully using a Kontact setup where I store my contacts, calendar and to-do lists on an IMAP server and share them across multiple computers. When Kontact created the groupware folders in my Inbox there is also a folder "Notizen". But when I create notes in Kontact, these notes are obviously not stored on the imap server - the mail folder "Notizen" in the inbox remains empty, and my notes are not synchronized across computers. Is there a way I can store notes in the "Notizen" groupware folder on the imap server? Is there a program that uses this feature? Christoph |

You may wish to check that you are setup as described here viewtopic.php?f=20&t=60087#p130212

bcooksley, thanks for you answer, but the message you are pointing me to I wrote by myself As I said, this works for calendar, contacts and to-do, but not for notes. |

Oops. *Hits self*
I'm pretty sure it uses KResources, so you may wish to check in System Settings > Advanced > KDE Resources > Notes, and check the various types you can add.

Indeed! There I can add a notes resource of type "IMAP via KMail" and set it as default resource. Now it works! I can add a note on my laptop and then see it on my desktop. Wow! Thanks for the tip. |
