How would i configure kmail?

I want to send email to aaaaa@yahoo.com using kmail.
How can i do this?
Do i need other software to install(postfix) ?

No, you shouldn't need anything else installed. I presume that you use your ISP's smtp server, so you need to put the details for that into the KMail Account page, Sending tab. Make sure that you know whether authentication is required. Getting that wrong, either way around, will make the send ail.

The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the problem (e.g. a broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox' folder.
The following transport was used: Yahoo.com

Full instructions for receiving and sending through Yahoo Mail are given in http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 620AA8hZmL Be careful to get authentication right.

(The instructions are, of course, for Outlook Express, so the 'Next' is irrelevant.)
