I would like to know if it is possible to select the imap folders to syncronize in kontact. For instance, I want "Inbox" to be syncronied every minute, but all other folders only when kontact starts. It is possible?

I am not an expert on this but I don't think this is currently possible.

This will sound like a broken record, but this is one of the features KMail will get "for free" [1] when it is fully ported to Akonadi (target release for that so far is 4.5).

[1] Akonadi can have individual cache policies on a per-folder basis.
