I think we (at least I) need more and more integration between discrete parts of Kontact.
If someone is interested in this topic, i posted some ideas on KDE brainstorm. Please feedback: i need to get clearly what kde is supposed to implement in teh near futura, in front of all thes shiny bells and whistles of webservices integration surrounding me (i.e. all google stuff i am more and more using! aaaaggh !·O). KONTACT: it is any form of drag'n'drop possible to implement in kontact? I mean, - drag a feed's page to knotebooks / knote; but even to kmail or to the journal has some scope: to send a feed without sent to... or share, etc.; to fill the calendar with an event's feed, etc. - drag a mail to the popup notes / to-do list, etc. Here I assume we can define (but probably it's already defined in Qt, i'm right?) a 1) drag'n'drop protocol for apps in kontact, 2) exchange entities between apps in kontact through this protocol, provided 3) a set of rules and procedures that transform and adapt the entity according to his qualities relevant to the app. AKGREGATOR / KNOTEBOOKS: a right click on webpage (khtml / webkit) of the feed, or any buttons on a toolbar, could consent to
and b) bookmark it. 2. A) Annotate the news (either a) in knotebooks or b) standalone?) and 2. B) feed it throught a) either i) any / some of the social network sites' API, or ii) producing an own rss / atom feed? And b) either i) from knotebooks and ii) akregator feed's webpage?
