What I want to do is this - each person that I send an email should be automatically added to my contacts. How to do this?

I don't think you can do this; you have to add them to the address book and then use the address book when you create a new email.
Of course, if they send you an email, simply right click on the email address and select Add to address book. I presume you wouldn't want this to happen automatically because it would also add unwanted addresses from SPAM.

Could be implemented an option which would enable the automated addition of an email address that we reply to?
It is valid because it has send us an email, and we are probably interested in it. |

That is the exact functionality that I intended Kmail to have when I posted this query. ![]() |
