Hi all,

I'm trying 4.4 beta 1, and I miss a very useful feature from previous version of KAddressBook which is "Contacts Categories", it makes really easy to configure mail filters common to a group of contacts in your address book.

It seems that the new replacement "KContactManager" doesn't have such functionality, at least in the same place than before, or I just can't find it.

Could you help me please?

Unfortunately this will not be available for the up coming release.

The plan is to do categories (and other forms of "grouping") through Nepomuk/Desktopsearch, so that e.g. the same category can also be used to look for other items of that context (mails from/to those people, events those people are attending as well, etc).
