I wonder how I can configure KMail to put sent mail into 'Sent' folder under Gmail account. It always tends to put all my sent mail to local 'Sent' folder, which is quite senseless. Also would be great to remove 'Local folders' at all as I don't use them.
Other then that Gmail web interface also performs nice grouping of sent and incoming messages in single thread in inbox folder. Could same be done in KMail?

Open KMail > Settings > Configure KMail. Change to Identities, select your Identity, and select Modify > Advanced.

Thanks, this was the main missing feature for me in KMail. I've also found the setting for trash which is located under imap account config
