The other day I configured Akonadi to sync with gcal and google contacts and it worked flawlessly, at first anyway. Now I can't get KOrganizer to sync with gcal. I add an event and select "akonadi resource" as the resource (instead of "Default calendar" which is local) and it doesn't show up in gcal. However, when I did this yesterday it did!

I've made sure Akonadi *is* running. I'm using KDE 4.3.4, Kubuntu 9.10 Karmic (32-bit).

If you add an event to the Google Calendar using the online interface does it appear in KOrganizer?
Also, try restarting Akonadi, make sure all Akonadi using applications are closed.

Code: Select all
akonadictl stop
sleep 20s
akonadictl start

It's pulling up events created in gcal from the past, but now when I create a new event via gcal it doesn't show in KOrganizer, though the old ones still do. (Are they "localized" once synced via Akonadi?) This is odd since it *did* work just the other day.

I tried restarting Akonadi as you suggested, but nothing changed.

Akonadi caches data, hence why past events still appear.

Try checking in Akonadi Console that the resource isn't having any trouble, and possibly check the logs which are likely in ~/.local.
