Running Charkra/arch and want to sync with my google calendar and contact because i use it on my iphone to. Running KDE 4.4 ( 4.3.98 ). The how to's i find don't match with what i have atm.
Are there new howto's to get it to work? I'm stuck and expected it a bit simpler then this. ( Hoped it was as easy as on the iphone ). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think you need this package:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26051 Then when you add a new address book, you will see Akonadi Google Contacts resource as an option. Just select it, type in your username and password and voila. When it doesn't work you should check system settings ==> network settings ==> proxy and set it to connect to the network directly. (I can remember there was an issue with those proxy settings) The same goes for the calendar. |

Thanks for your answer. But it doesn't work for me.
With calendar i get no google option. http://i48.tinypic.com/34nil8y.png And with contacts is have the google option, I fill in my login and password and it start to do something but it shows links and if i open it it shows no contact info. http://i47.tinypic.com/2enc2ur.png The Links are the screenshots from what i see. But i will wait for now till i have some more time to try it again.
