Help! Kontact has no components!

whashnez Registered Member Posts 88 Karma 0 OS	Help! Kontact has no components! Thu Feb 11, 2010 10:32 pm Hello! I'm using Arch Linux, I updated today to kde 4.4. I managed to run akonadi normally, but when I start kontact there are no compnents at all. Just the welcome screen and some buttons as settings where there is also nothing to set. Can anybody help? I really need kontact! Well good job Einstein, why don't we build a rocket in the meantime...

Please try running "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental" If that doesn't work, try moving $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/apps/kontact somewhere else. KDE Sysadmin [img]content/bcooksley_sig.png[/img]

Fri Feb 12, 2010 9:46 am I run the command and I moved /home/whashnez/.kdemod4/share/apps/kontact directory that has one file in it,in /home/whashnez/.kdemod4/ but still nothing! Any ideas?
