Kontact not closing correctly

Hi
when I close kontact I can't open it the next time cause its still running as a process somewhere in the backgorund. I started it from the console:

Everytime when I click on the Kontact icon to start it there will just be another KPIM:ReminderClient line but kontact won't come up.
I have to do a "killall kontact" (in the console I'll get: *** KMail got signal 15 (Exiting)) and then I can start it again.

Any way to fix that?
