Hello,

I upgraded from KDE 4.3.1 to KDE 4.4.0 and now the akonadi server refuses to start. I found many hints how to solve the issue but unfortunately no fit exacly - so I like to ask the folks here for help.

Thanks a lot
Michael

Can you run:
Code: Select all
mysql_install_db --datadir=$HOME/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/

then try to restart Akonadi.
