I am a new convert to Kmail with only one unresolved issue.
I DID search the forums and scanned the kmail PDF twice.

A normal routine for me is to paste portions of an Openoffice spreadsheet directly into a mail message.
Looks fine going out.
Problem is that when it arrives at destination (and back to me as well) it is an unreadable attachment.

I also tried to paste from Kspread as well in case it was a compatibility issue.

Also does fine in Thunderbird Mail.
Am I missing anything?

I'm using:
4.3.2 Kubuntu 09.10

last night I combed over a every possible setting...No luck
I DID however learn extensively about templates in Kmail...very interesting

Tonight I'm going to test with Live CD

The maintainer of KMail said this was unexpected. They said they would add this to their list of bugs to check for 4.4.x releases, so it may be possible that this will be fixed in the future. In the meantime, I would recommend updating to 4.3.5 or 4.4.0.
