akonadi tray icon not visible

Fri Mar 05, 2010 8:47 am
When I load akonaditray from the K > Utilities menu I do not see the tray icon even though system activity tells me akonaditray is running.

Any ideas why or what I can do to get it displayed?

Thanks.

First, check that you haven't got the system try condensed - there should be a small arrow at the left of the tray. If it's right-facing, click on it to open it up. If that's not the problem, try looking at the System Tray Properties, Auto-hide section. You may need to change settings there.

That was it - duh! Thanks for your help (I'm feeling a little stupid right now...)
