I'm trying out Kontact/Kmail and am wondering just how on earth I can synchronize calendars between multiple accounts on multiple machines. If I switch all machines will be running Kontact so heterogeneous setup is unnecessary.

My solution is to have a partition for all data to be stored, and readable/writable by all members of the users group. I run regular backups of my calendar and addressbook to that directory. However, I would not recommend allowing all members of the group to write to those two files, as sooner or later you are going to hit conflicts. Instead, give all the other users read-only access (do this when you are adding the resource) and share theirs in the same way. You can then display the aggregate of the group's diaries.

Okay, thanks. Maybe you can help me with another issue... when I click on a link in an email it takes me to the following cache:
/var/tmp/kdecache-gene/krun/7488.0.ucp.php And gives me a pagefull of html source code. Is there a fix for this? |

Okay, solved it. Under default apps I checked "run in terminal" when I selected my browser.
