Solved the problem it ended up being something very silly. Somehow a space and a dot was in the search field. The dot was so tiny I had not noticed it and of course it stays in there even after a reboot. :/ Quite embarrassing... I will not try to save my ego here and will leave this up in the spirit of it possibly helping some other unfortunate soul.

Hello since about the time I upgraded to KDE KDE 4.4.1 (from KDE 4.4.0) I began noticing that many of the articles are not actually appearing within Akregator. They show up as existing but upon clicking nothing gets shown. I also receive notifications when the articles are coming so I know they are there it's just that Akregator suddenly does not seem to display them. The weird thing is that a few of the feeds display just fine. They display neither in the article selection or in the body display pane. In the article selection pane/window it is completely blank as if there are no articles. The name of thee feeds and all my folders actually appear just fine. As does the status indicators wwich show that there should be articles. The feeds are also properly bolded when new articles arrive.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Before dismissing it as a corrupted "database" file I figured I would ping here.

System and version info:

Akregator Version 1.6.1
Kde Platform Version 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Arch Linux w/ latest updates applied

Linux arch-desktop 2.6.32-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Feb 23 19:24:08 UTC 2010 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
