Hi all,

do you know if there is work in progress on Akregator? The webpage http://akregator.kde.org/ is very out-dated.

Before I start feature requests or try it on my one, I just want to make sure, that its really not possible:
- to change the view globally for all feeds to "view webpage"
- to see videos/flash in the normal view (content in rss feed)
- rearrange tabs

Did you try that? Is someone using akregator at all?

I use Akregator but have no interest in viewing webpages or videos/flash so no experience looking for those settings.

What are you calling tabs: the icons of kontact parts at the side, the column headers for the list of feeds, the column headers for the list of feed items, or something else I didn't notice?

I would be happy if the 4.3.5-0.1.4 version I use under openSUSE wouldn't leave the list of feed items littered with partially deleted items until the next time kontact is restarted.

I'd like to see it synced with Google Reader. Someone had worked on it and had it working, I believe there is a video on Youtube of it in action, but it was never merged into the main project.


I don't believe it has been worked on for a while, notice the info displayed on it in About Kontact
