As the subject hints, KMail (which I was using within Kontact) crashed while I was composing an email message. To be more specific, the spell checker highlighted a number (40), and when I right-clicked on it, the program crashed. I was composing a rather lengthy message, and I have Autosave enabled (every 1 min), but the message was *NOT* saved. This is severely annoying, not to mention disturbing: crashing the mail program with the spell checker! I've searched the bug database, without success. I've also tried submitting the bug through the KDE crash handler, but it was unable to gather any useful information, so it did submit the bug.
As anyone else encountered this problem? I've been unable to reproduce it (but then again, I don't have the time right now to retype all that had written...). KMail 1.13.2 / Kontact 4.4.2 EDIT: I was able to reproduce the bug, and have now submitted it (using KDE crash handler): https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233026 |
