Hey everyone,
a few weeks ago I upgraded my KDE 4.3.2 to KDE 4.4.2. Today I noticed, that in Kontact (or to be more specific in Kadressbook) all contacts are listed, but if I select one contact the details are not shown in the right column. Also if I try to edit a contact, I only got an complete empty form. I thought this could be some trouble with the migration to akonadi, so I've added a new addressbook and choose the google resource. But the problem still remains. In the right column is absolutely nothing written. Any ideas? Regards, TeaAge

Try closing Kontact, launching KAddressBook and seeing whether everything looks right there. If it does, close KAddressBook and you'll probably see everything OK in Kontact. If it doesn't you have some configuring to do. These pages will help you sort out the problem and solution.

Ah, it works.
I've closed Kontact and tried to start KAddressBook but it doesn't without any error message. I've tried to start Kontact again, but this also doesn't work anymore (very curious). I've read the akonadi troubleshooter and restartet akonadi. After that kontact starts again and also kaddressbook and now I see also the contacts with its details. Regards, TeaAge
