Hello:
I am running Kubuntu 10 LTS on a Dell studio. Have everything working great except one thing. I cannot send a group email. I'm running Akonadi and it is working with my address-book fine. Kmail is 1.13.2. I am using a POP3 account with SMPT. I can send and receive regular email fine. I can create a group fine. I created a group called test with 2 recipients. When I try and email a message to that a group I get: Sending failed: test@studio-linux (The server responded:"[PERMFAIL] destion not valid within DNS. Now I went into my send config in ACCOUNTS and the default domain is called studio-linux (name of my box) so I deleted that and hit APPLY. Tried again - same thing. I have searched the net and cannot find anything. Could anyone please help me? I'd like to create groups of clients to tailor emails. Thanks |

Two weeks ago the kaddressbook maintainer backported a fix that allows distribution lists to be used again. If KUbuntu still doesn't have that fix, you'll have to ask them to get it out. It certainly works - I ran a test group mail today.
