I guess this is more of a feature request than a problem, or maybe this just happens on my computer. Anyway, I put it here, move it if it feels incorrect.

I use Kontact for both mail and feeds and I have both Akregator and Kmail system tray icons. What I find a bit odd is that no matter which icon I click, Kontact is opened on last used application. So if I read feeds in Akregator, closes Kontact and click on Kmail icon in system tray Akregator will be opened. The expected behaviour, in my opinion, would be to open Kontact Akregator when Akregator icon is clicked and Kmail when Kmail icon is clicked. Is this normal behaviour or just me? Can it be fixed?

it is a missing handoff, due to kontact handling the requests for all the modules.
I've searched a bit for any bugs/wishes related to this, and have not found any. You will do well to, search a bit more, and open a ticket for this, here http://bugs.kde.org
