This is the first time I've had any problem bringing up a new Linux install. Right now, I'm going from bad to worse.

Because of some missing modules, I had to do a reinstall of MySQL. This required that I remove and reinstall KDEPim, too. MySQL is working great, but I can't ever *START* kmail as the akonadi server won't start. Here are the errors I'm seeing. Note that I won't see email as I can't run KMail. *PLEASE* help

If you open Konsole, and enter "akonadictl start" prior to running KMail, does it work?

What version of KDE is this?
