It's possible. Can you post (or send to me off-list if you prefer, annew at kde dot org) the two files from .kde/share/config/ - emaildefaults and emailidentities. I'll see if there is anything there that helps. It might also be worth looking at mailtransports and the other files listed on http://userbase.kde.org/KMail/FAQs_Hint ... #Migration - you can send them all to me if you wish

I'll be glad to send some info off list as what I have is about 5 pages long. Would you prefer it as a pdf or an OO wordprocessor document?
