I'm using KDE 4.5 from the KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop-Repository on openSUSE 11.3.

Today I decided to give kdepim 4.5 from the kdepim45-repository a try, but I have a lot of problems...

If I start Kontact, the "KMail Migration Tool" appears and migrates my mails to akonadi, but two IMAP-Accounts fail because of missing UIDPLUS-Capabilities.

After the message "Migration successfully completed", akonadi_imap_resource is crashing with an useless backtrace:

Kontact does not start after this happens and this happens every time so I cannot use Kontact at the moment. Does anybody can give me any hints? Should I write a bugreport?

Of course! First, the developer may be able to give you a quick fix if they already know about your situation, and if not, then only by reporting it do they get to know. Either way it's in your interest to report it, and as thoroughly as you can.

Which IMAP servers are being reported as not supporting UIDPLUS?

If you want to continue testing without those two IMAP accounts, you can remove the respective "Account" sections from kmail2rc (usually in $HOME/.kde/share/config) so they won't trigger the migrator again.
