Hello all,

I'm running a newly installed OpenSUSE 64-bit. KMail works with my email accounts without any problems, but when I send off an email, the outbox still displays that it has an email waiting to be sent. The email's already gone and arrived in the recipient mailbox. Any ideas why?

Thanks,
Daniel

Which version of KMail is installed?
Do you have KMail 2.0 or KMail 1.x?

Assuming that you are using the KMail installed by OpenSUSE, and not the experimental KMail2, my first suspicion would be a corrupted index. This is likely to be found in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail and may be two or three files related to your outbox. Delete them (with KMail closed) then re-start KMail. They will be recreated, and hopefully your problem will have disappeared.
