Hello,
I would like to download somehow the whole mailing list archive and have all the messages in my mailbox, at least locally. It is possible? I'm interested in mypaint mailing list archive saved publicly here: https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/mypaint-discuss Any ideas?
Daylight is coming...

If you look at the archive web page you will find that each month is downloadable as a compressed mbox file.
Download any of these, decrompress them (gunzip) and move them into KMail's mail folders (while KMail is not running). When you restart KMail, it will pick up the new files as new folders. Default path for KMail's top level folder is $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail If you want to move them into a certain sub folder, each subfolder has a ".directory" sub directory which then contains all its child folders. E.g. lets say you've created a "mypaint-discuss-archive" folder in KMail as a top level folder, move the mbox files to $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/.mypaint-discuss-archive.directory (create if it does not exist yet) Cheers, _
