Duplicate address book  Topic is solved

Sat Oct 09, 2010 9:26 pm
Hi,

I use kde 4.3 and now I'm going to change to kde 4.5. When I test in kubuntu with konctact in kde 4.5, the fist time I run konctac, in kaddressbook I see two Personal Contacts. Then I run akonadi configuration and I see six differents "Personal Contacts". Is it correct? (known bug?)

If it's not correct, I would like to set akonadi from zero with address. How? Maybe I should delete all "Personal Contacts" and create only one?

Later I will import my old contacts from the std.vcf, because I'm not sure if the akonadi migration is correct with these strange duplicates.

Thanks :)

P.S.- My kubuntu kde is in spanish.

Definitely a bug and I think it is already known.

Run
Code: Select all
kcmshell4 kcm_akonadi

and remove all duplicates. Or you can remove all of them and a new one explicitly.

Cheers,

Thanks you very much. I'll try clean and create a new addressbook.
